Meet BUTTERCUP, a purebred Holland lop who arrived from a Santa Barbara confiscation on March 1st 2013 along w/22 others. They were breeder bunnies kept in unsanitary conditions. We hooked up w/SB animal control officers who drove endless hours round trip to deliver to our rescue group. What a sight and a lot of chaos but we got them all neutered/spayed and most adopted. Buttercup was adopted quickly, bonded w/a handsome boyfriend but it didn't last. Owners decided to give her a better life & returned her to us. She would love a new fella to snuggle with or a family who will worship her & offer her fresh hay, greens & an occasional treat! She is a quiet gentle type, age unknown.
